PC-Eye is a read/write electronic magnifier for your computer and television.

Connect the PC-Eye to a computer using only a single USB socket. No external supplies, batteries or cables are required. Click the software icon on the desktop and the computer becomes an electronic magnifier. It can be used with laptop and desktop computers. The software is supplied on a disk.

For television use simply plug the PC Eye control into either the SCART socket or the AV input of the television. The Smart-SCART adaptor (supplied) makes switching between the PC-Eye and the television very easy without using any remote controls.

This innovative PC Eye control product is light, stylish and unobtrusive and ideal for every-day use.

Read the newspaper, magazines or your letters. Write birthday cards, fill out forms and do the crossword again, even cut your nails.

The magnetic base of the PC-Eye holds it securely on its stand making reading A4 sheets from top to bottom easy.

When folded away the PC-Eye’s buttons are hidden from view making it unrecognisable as a magnification aid.

To store the PC-Eye, pull out the cables, and fold it up.

Versatile
Magnification is in 6 steps and magnifies from 4 to 12 times. The larger the screen, the larger the image. The same amount is displayed. Write a birthday card or read a whole column width of a newspaper at a time, the PC-Eye can do this. Small practical jobs are also no problem. It’s a must for those little jobs and small print.

Different viewing options
PC-Eye displays four viewing options. Full colour for photographs, pictures and practical work then greyscale and enhanced black on white and white on black for text reading. A freeze-frame button locks the picture.

Computer use
When used with a computer the software will display the image from the PC-Eye either on the full screen or in a window. iZoom* screen magnification can be used with the PC-Eye to give a split-screen copy typing facility. This combination is ideal for schools, colleges and home use. Captured images from the PC-Eye can be stored on the computer. The software is equipped with this feature.

Television use
To use the PC Eye control with the television simply plug it into either the SCART socket or the yellow AV socket. A Smart-SCART switch is included to make life easier. It eliminates the need to use the remote control when switching between the PC-Eye and a television program.

Built-in lighting
PC-Eye has its own built-in dimmable LED illumination and can even be used in total darkness.
