Press one button and it recognises all the text including text hidden in the crease of the book. It’s so easy to use that you can operate the Poet BE even if you haven’t had any prior training. With the single press of a button, it reads in a clear and human like voice. It is easy to navigate forwards and backwards through the text by letter, word and paragraph. The reading speed can be altered even while it is speaking, maintaining the same voice pitch. Also scan new pages while it is reading. Other controls include: Volume, pausing, and jumping between text passages. The Poet BE has been made as simple as possible whilst having the latest features.

The Poet BE has an enormous memory. It can store more than 500,000 typewritten sides of A4 paper, enough to read for 8 hours a day, for 10 years at a chosen speed of 3 minuets a page. Any section of text can be saved by voice under your chosen name using the built-in microphone for future listening.

Different languages are available such as, French, German, Italian, and Russian etc.
