The latest release of COBRA 9.0 is now available and we would like your opinion. Join us at our Free Cobra course.
Baum is holding an in-depth course on the Cobra screen reading software in London. It is aimed at potential trainers and users who have a better than average knowledge of screen reading software and would like to be involved. Cobra is already being recommended into employment situations and trainers will be required for the future so if you are interested please come. Gunter Christman (totally blind programmer and user) from BAUM and Niels van Weele from BAUM will be talking about Cobra on the day.
The course will be held on Thursday 23rd of September between 10am and 4pm for one day only! This will be at the National Union of Teachers building Next to the RNIB at Judd Street in London.
What can I expect from the day:
- Complete familiarisation of Cobra.
- Advantages and areas of particular strength.
- Scripting and how it works.
- How to train using Cobra.
- Questions and answers.
There has been a lot of interest in Cobra since its release 2 years ago. Unfortunately it has taken till now for it to evolve enough to be fully effective. It is now at that stage. It has been extensively tested and except for a few minor planned improvements it is ready for the shelf. Not only is it powerful but it is easy to use and script for.
